Patagonia has come to have a special place in my soul.  It’s beauty is pristine; when I’m there I feel like I get to see what it was like before humans roamed the earth.  I have explored the area by car on remote roads, on day hikes and multi-day treks.  On the famous ‘W’ trek there are many highlights that you encounter as you go down through valleys, up to peaks, alongside glaciers and directly into the wind.  On the way to the last camp, the sun transformed the mountains into an inferno, It was an effect that lasted a few moments and reminded me of something one would see created for a movie.
