On sunny days there is an iridescence in the clouds and on the water. On cloudy days the ice formations pop against a cool background. Capturing the myriad of moods and effects born from the interplay of sky’s light fascinated me. Amid the intricate yet straightforward landscape of ice, water, and sky, each day’s subtle nuances were significant—dictating the duration of our stay and direction of travel.
