When my parents and I moved to Canada in the early nineties we bought a map of Ontario and spent our weekends going to the various green areas within reach. Algonquin Park was one of these that was larger than some countries in Europe. We have been visiting since to hike, canoe, camp, observe and just be. This photograph is simple in a way, and gives me a feeling of what I associate with the park: intricate and beautiful growth, clean water and in general a sense of calm.
